More About Leah!
I began my yoga journey in the spring of 2019 — right at the beginning of the pandemic. I fumbled my way through the poses, but something about the practice kept me coming back. I loved the mind, body, and spirit connection and felt closer to God and the spirit realm than I had ever felt before. My confidence grew, and I began to love myself — my body and my mind. I found myself in the stillness. In that stillness, I found peace, mindfulness, and healing.
I believe so strongly in the power of yoga that, after 17 years as a learning specialist, I left my career behind to help inspire others to act from their highest selves — or, as my kids like to call it, acting from our “soul self.” When we act in accordance with our highest selves, we raise human consciousness for all mankind. After all, it is said that one person emitting a frequency of love (500) can counterbalance 750,000 people who are under a 200 frequency (Dr. David R. Hawkins).
Yoga is about exploring your mind, body, and soul. It’s about letting go of old habits, going within to explore the depths of yourself, and remembering who you truly are. As Buddha once said, “When you let go, you create space for better things to enter your life.” And as The Bhagavad Gita reminds us, “Yoga is the journey of the self, through the self, and to the self.”
As a yoga teacher, I love working one-on-one with students and incorporating plant medicines to help yogis release trauma, clear and move energy, and awaken to a higher consciousness. Learn more about these experiences through the links at the top.
